Chapter 12

But if you have come to deceive me on behalf of my enemies, when my hands are innocent of violence, may the God of our fathers see it and rebuke you." ¹⁹ A spirit clothed Amasai, head of the thirds, and he said to you, David, and to your people, son of Jesse: Peace, peace to you, and peace to your helper, for your God has helped you.
